This year marks, I believe, the 11th year of the Secret Santa Project and my eighth year participating. Reverse Thieves started the project and continued it for ten years and this year marks the first year that All Geeks Considered hosts this absolutely enjoyable project. I don’t know which part I enjoy more, the picking of anime for someone else to watch or discovering what new anime someone has chosen for me to watch.
My track record in receiving good picks has been very good. Will this year continue the string or did I receive a big lump of coal this year?
The Spring 2018 season is here and there are plenty of anime series vying for attention. I’m not sure how many I can get to, but, there are a number of interesting (both in a positive and in a negative sense) new shows that I’d like to cover. The first is Gegege no Kitarou, a supernatural comedy shounen series produced by Toei Animation.

Whatever font that I get the juice to blog about anime has been running a bit dry of late. I’ve still been watching a ton of currently airing anime but, for whatever reason, it hasn’t been translating into getting anything written. On the other hand, I recently finished a slightly older series called Thriller Restaurant (Kaidan Restaurant) and I enjoyed this fun, little anime series too much to pass up the chance to talk about it. So, I’m going to dust off my series review template and do a proper anime series review post for Thriller Restaurant.
And with Halloween coming, it might be just the anime series one needs to get into the spirit of the season.
