I wanted my next post to be about One Punch Man so I’d have all three of my stickied posts feature a screenshot from the show but Medieval Otaku nominated me for the Sunshine Award and … wait, I just had a good idea … continuing, Medieval Otaku is a great blog that I like to read. As a Roman Catholic, I enjoy reading a quality written blog that adds Catholicism into the mix of covering anime – I have never had the guts to do it much myself because I think I might have poor impulse control when discussing religion since we’d be dealing with something truly important (a person’s soul as opposed to anime) and I want my blog to remain a place that’s civil.
I also thought the questions were good ones so here we go …

Once more into the breach. I couldn’t really summon the energy to get this done early, hence the tardiness of this post. I’m glad for the time that’s being freed up – I want to focus on writing a look back at the winter season next week, for example – but I already miss doing these quizzes.
I’d drag my feet a little longer here, but, there’s a lot of ground to cover with these questions.

If your reading this then you might realize that I’m a bit late on this post :) . A couple self-imposed deadlines aren’t going to get made (I wanted to have my 2014 year in review posts done before March, for one) but that’s okay because this February is just about done and I’ve gotten through the month better then I have been because of all the writing I’ve been making myself do.
I hate February for all the normal I’m sick of winter reasons – this year’s February will easily be the coldest in over 117 years, since before records were kept in my hometown, and be the third snowiest on record. But I also hate it because both of my grandparents on my mother’s side died this month and I will always remember how every February of the 15 years my grandma lived after my grandfather would see her health fall apart and she’d barely make it to March but when she did, she’d perk right up; it was like the month of February stalked her like a predator to prey.
Okay, I’m starting to depress myself. Here’s the answers to this week’s quiz questions.

Sorry; I’m pulling a Peter Jackson. I intended to do this countdown in two parts but, as I finished up, I realized that I had been writing at Extended Edition speed and both halves were entirely too long. I know this takes some of the fun out of the final part because between knowing 2/3 of the countdown along with the honorable mentions means which series are in the top 5 is probably a no-brainer. Oh well, onto the countdown.

Okay, I’m seriously starting to get way to long with these entries; so, for today, I’m going to bend the rules a bit and try not to be so introspective. Bending the rules a bit because I’m going to cover two anime series and the moment is really just a pseudo-moment.

The danger of putting together a list like this is the sudden temptation to rewatch the series that one mentions instead of trying to finish writing up said list. A quick look at what I’m watching confirms that I don’t even have the room to fit in Planetes, Haibane Renmei, or Paranoia Agent. To name but three series that I really want to rewatch right now, maybe over the quieter summer season I’ll find the time. (It might be a quiet season but there’s still Moyashimon season 2 to get excited about.)
